Cookingdom Level 6: Ramen
Video Guide & Text Walkthrough
Strategy Guide
Step 1: Obtain the Sake
- There is a buried jar in the ground labeled "西の関". Use the shovel to dig the dirt three times until the full jar is revealed.
- Wipe the jar with a towel to remove the dust — you’ll need to wipe at least twice to fully clean it.
- Once clean, the sake will be collected and ready to use.
Step 2: Prepare the Ingredients
- Place the pork belly from the left plate onto the cutting board.
- Chop it from left to right by continuously swinging the knife downward — complete this step quickly!
- Repeat the chopping process for the chashu pork, spring onion, green onion, garlic-ginger, and onion — all should be finely minced.
Step 3: Boil the Noodles
- Pour water from the glass jar (bottom right) into the pot, then place the strainer over the pot to unlock the stove.
- Boil the ramen noodles and bean sprouts from the top shelf — cook each and transfer them to the plate on the right in any order.
- Important: Be sure to turn off the stove after boiling!
Step 4: Make the Broth
- Use the blue ladle from the tray (bottom right) to scoop soy sauce from the small bowl and pour it into the pot, then turn on the stove.
- When you hear sizzling, add minced onion (left side of lower shelf), then ginger-garlic (right side), and pork mince (top shelf).
- Once the ingredients change color, add the three seasonings from the small dishes below, ending with the brown miso paste on the far right.
- Pour the sake (from earlier) into the pot, followed by the chicken broth from the large bowl on the right.
- Finally, add dried scallop bits from the lower shelf. When it starts bubbling, turn off the stove — the broth is now complete!
Step 5: Final Plating
- Add ramen noodles to the bowl and use a ladle to pour the finished broth over them.
- Top with chashu slices, soft-boiled egg, seaweed sheets, green onion pieces, and chopped scallions.
- Congratulations — you’ve completed the level!
