Cookingdom Level 28: Alaskan Steamed Lobster
Video Guide & Text Walkthrough
Strategy Guide
Step 1: Clean and Steam the Lobster
- Place the Alaskan lobster on the cutting board and use a towel to repeatedly wipe and clean it thoroughly.
- Once clean, move the lobster into the square basin nearby.
- Finely chop lemongrass, lemon, ginger, and bird’s eye chili.
- Pour beer into the pot and place the steamer basket on top.
- Put the lobster into the steamer, then sprinkle the four chopped ingredients on top of the lobster.
- Cover with the lid and turn on the stove to begin steaming.
Step 2: Make the Butter Sauce
- Add butter to a frying pan, then include three additional condiments along with a splash of white wine.
- Turn on the heat and stir continuously using a spoon.
- When the sauce turns golden, turn off the stove. The lobster should also be finished steaming — don’t forget to turn off that burner too.
- Pour the finished sauce into a bowl below the stove.
Step 3: Prepare and Plate the Lobster
- Transfer the steamed lobster to the cutting board.
- Use the knife to tap the lobster's head quickly and repeatedly until the progress bar turns red — this splits the lobster in half.
- Move the split lobster halves onto the large upper plate.
- Lay tea leaves across the base of the large plate.
- Evenly place tomato slices, lemon slices, and cucumber slices over the tea leaves.
- Arrange the small lobsters in a circular “O” shape around the platter.
- Place the bowl of butter sauce in the center of the ring.
- And that’s it — your Alaskan steamed lobster is ready, and the level is complete!
