Video Guide & Text Walkthrough

Strategy Guide

Step 1: Pick the Tea Leaves

  • Use the watering can to water the tea plant.
  • Drag the cloud away from the top of the screen to let sunlight shine onto the tea tree.
  • As the tree grows, the leaves will mature — tap on each leaf to collect it into the bamboo basket.
  • Harvest a total of 6 leaves to proceed.

Step 2: Brew the Tea & Make the Pearls

🫖 Brew the Tea

  • Swipe each tea leaf left and right to split it and remove the tough stems.
  • Place the trimmed leaves into the tea grinder (top-left).
  • Turn on the grinder to crush the leaves into powder.
  • Put the filter mesh over the bowl and pour the powder into the mesh.
  • Sway the filter left and right to sift the tea.
  • Wipe the bowl rim clean with a towel.
  • Add hot water and stir with the whisk — tea is ready! Clean any spills with the towel during the process.

🍬 Make the Pearls

  • Add water to the pot and turn on the electric stove.
  • Add brown sugar and simmer until syrup forms. Scoop out a spoonful for later use.
  • Add tapioca flour into the pot and stir until it forms a dough.
  • Move the dough to the cutting board, sprinkle with more tapioca flour, and press it flat with a rolling pin.
  • Roll the dough into a long strip by swiping up and down, then cut it into cubes with a knife.
  • Tap each cube to roll it into a pearl ball shape.
  • Cook the pearls in the pot and pour in the reserved brown sugar syrup — now they become shiny black-brown pearls.

Step 3: Make the Milk Tea

  • Pour milk into a pot and turn on the heat.
  • Place a strainer over the pot and add a scoop of tea powder and a tea leaf into the strainer.
  • Use the metal ladle to scoop freshly brewed milk tea into a glass bowl.
  • Pour the milk tea into a plastic cup.
  • Add a scoop of matcha jelly into the cup.
  • Use the skimmer to add tapioca pearls to the cup.
  • Finish by adding ice cubes, more matcha jelly, and pudding.
  • Top it off with a skewer of pearls — and your boba milk tea is complete!
