Step 1: Boil the Spaghetti
- Pour water into the pot and turn on the stove.
- Add a pinch of salt and drop in the dry spaghetti noodles.
- As the noodles soften, expand, and change color, use a skimmer to remove them and transfer to a plate.
- Turn off the heat once boiling is complete.
- Chop the tomato and onion finely and place them in separate small dishes.
- Pick off the dark basil leaves and discard them. Place the fresh ones back into the herb dish.
Step 2: Cook the Meat Sauce
- Pour oil into the pan and turn on the heat.
- Sprinkle in some black pepper, then add the diced tomatoes and onions.
- Use a spoon to stir-fry until they begin to change color.
- Add minced meat and cook until browned.
- Pour in tomato sauce and continue stirring.
- Once the meat sauce thickens and becomes rich red in color, it’s ready.
Step 3: Plating
- Use a spatula to spoon the meat sauce over the plate of spaghetti.
- Drizzle with light cream for a smooth finish.
- Garnish with the remaining tomato pieces and basil leaves.
- That’s it — your classic spaghetti is complete, and so is the final level!
