Video Guide & Text Walkthrough
Strategy Guide
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients π₯©π₯π§
- Place the beef on the cutting board and chop it into large chunks with a knife. Put the chunks into the meat grinder.
- While the meat is grinding, chop the onion finely on the cutting board.
- Next, dice the carrot into small pieces using the knife.
- Once the meat is ground, open the grinder lid and move the minced meat to the central plate.
- Take the basil to the board, remove any dark, wilted leaves πΏ, and keep only the fresh green ones. Place the clean leaves back into their dish.
- Peel the potatoes π₯ using the peeler and then cut them into small cubes with the knife.
Step 2: Make the Dough π₯£βοΈ
- Use the small shovel beside the flour sack to scoop flour into the mixing bowl β do this three times.
- Pour in milk, add sugar, and drop the block of butter into the bowl π§.
- We need water but there's no bottle! A cloud floats by below and another one above β drag the lower cloud onto the upper one βοΈβ‘οΈβοΈ.
- The clouds merge into a thundercloud and it starts to rain π§οΈ. Water falls into the bowl.
- Stir the mixture in the bowl clockwise until it forms a smooth dough.
- Tap and drag the flour from the bottom-left corner to spread it evenly over the cutting board.
- Place one ball of dough onto the floured board. Use the rolling pin to flatten it vertically and horizontally into a large thin sheet. Move it to another bowl.
- Repeat this twice to get three dough sheets total.
- Wipe off excess flour from the board using the handkerchief.
Step 3: Make the Savory Filling π³π₯
- Turn on the induction cooker and heat up the pan.
- Add a square of butter from the left dish into the pan to melt it.
- Once hot, add minced meat, onion, and carrot, and stir clockwise with the spatula.
- When the meat is cooked, move it to the large plate on the side.
- Add another block of butter to the pan π§.
- Melt it, then add chopped onion, diced potatoes, ketchup, and chili sauce from the bottle.
- Stir-fry until cooked, then transfer to another dish.
- Oh no! The stove overheated and caught fire! π Use the fire extinguisher nearby to put out the flames immediately!
Step 4: Make the Chocolate Filling π«π―
- Scoop a spoonful of cream from the top-left bottle into the mixing bowl.
- Add one spoon of malt syrup from the middle bottle and one spoon of cocoa powder from the right bottle.
- Stir clockwise with the spoon until evenly mixed.
- Place the dry malt candy strips on the board, cut them into noodle-like strands π¬, and add them to the bowl.
- Keep stirring until the chocolate filling is smooth and ready.
Step 5: Wrap the Gozleme βπ
- Place a dough sheet on the board. Spread the chocolate filling over it evenly with a spoon π«.
- Fold the dough from all four directions into the center, making a neat envelope shape.
- Next, take another dough sheet and spread the meat filling. Fold it in half to seal.
- Repeat with the third dough sheet using the potato filling. Fold into an envelope shape.
Step 6: Pan-Fry the Gozleme π³π§
- Turn on the induction stove and melt a piece of butter in the flat pan.
- Place one Gozleme into the pan. Wait until it bubbles and jumps slightly.
- Flip it using your finger to cook the other side π.
- Once both sides are golden brown, move it to the dish.
- Repeat for the other two Gozleme pieces.
Step 7: Plating and Decoration π½οΈπΏ
- Place the meat-filled, half-moon shaped Gozleme on the board and cut it in half. Arrange on the plate.
- Cut the potato-filled Gozleme in half and place on the plate.
- Do the same for the chocolate-filled Gozleme and arrange neatly.
- Add basil to the right edge of the plate πΏ.
- Slice the tomato π and place the slices at the upper left of the plate.
- Slice the lemon π and add the slices to the lower right corner.
- Finally, drizzle chili sauce artistically over the Gozleme π₯. Done!
